One integrated platform

From data entry to NIRF decision intelligence

NIRF Navigator keeps the ranking tables in one place, so a team spends its time on the figures instead of rebuilding the sheet. Checks flag mismatched student totals before a draft is saved, and the ranking year rebuilds the academic-year columns the report expects.

Structured data entry

Capture intake, student strength, placements, finance, research, and consultancy in the same layout as the NIRF data tables.

Faculty data upload

Bring faculty records together for strength, qualification, experience, and the ratios the category methodology uses.

Automatic calculations

Entered data feeds the parameter and sub-parameter calculations, including the three-year windows.

Score prediction

See a tentative score and how TLR, RP, GO, OI, and PR contribute to it.

Review and submit

Check institutional inputs, faculty information, calculations, and the predicted score in one verification view.

Report for leadership

Carry the consolidated view into IQAC discussions, gap analysis, and submission preparation.

Scenario impact simulator

Test an improvement before implementing it

Adjust sanctioned intake, enrolment, faculty strength, and PhD-qualified faculty, then see the estimated effect on the simulated score. The simulator opens after sign-in, for the programs that college registered.

  • Test sanctioned intake and enrolment scenarios
  • Evaluate changes in faculty strength
  • Model a higher share of PhD-qualified faculty
  • Compare the current figures with a proposed scenario

“The tables are already laid out, so the ranking cell spends its time on the figures instead of rebuilding the sheet.”

Ranking coordinator, participating institute

“Seeing TLR and graduation outcomes move in the simulator made the data gaps obvious before the portal window.”

Don’t just submit data. Understand what it means.

A Nodal Officer registers the institution’s categories and pays for that selection. Category Coordinators for those categories are approved inside the institution. The free option is confirmed by the superadmin.

NIRF Navigator is a simulation and decision-support tool. Scores it shows are tentative estimates from the data entered and the methodology configured in the platform. They do not represent, guarantee, or replace official NIRF scores or rankings. Actual results depend on the data NIRF accepts, official methodology, perception inputs, and any later change in the framework. Institutions should follow the applicable NIRF guidelines for submission.
